Blake Angier
Originally from Des Moines, Iowa, Blake Angier went on to train extensively on scholarship with the Edge Performing Arts Center in Hollywood, California. He has worked with artists such as Beyoncé, Rihanna, Ricky Martin, Miley Cyrus as " Hannah Montana", and Latin superstar Cheyanne. You may have seen Blake as a dancer for the Apple iPOD campaign, Old Navy, Cingular Wireless and as a feature on "Bring It On - All or Nothing". Blake has been a guest Choreographer and Master Class teacher for conventions across the USA, Canada, New Zealand and the Congreso Internacional de Danza in Mexico. You have have also seen Blake in the "So You Think You Can Dance" ad campaign. Blake currently owns "Dance Barre", the largest dance studio in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Blake has had the privilege to return to Des Moines on many occasions to work with both dance students and educators. He is thrilled to watch as the dance community continues to thrive.
Kersten Todey
Kersten grew up dancing in Thousand Oaks, CA, where she trained in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and contemporary styles. She then went on to graduate from the Edge Scholarship Program in Los Angeles. Soon after, she became a member of Myo Dance Company under the direction of Josie Walsh. Kersten has assisted and danced for some of the most well renowned choreographers in the business including Michael Rooney, Mandy Moore, Dan Karaty, and more. Recently, Kersten was one of the featured dancers on Disney's "The Muppets", and has appeared three times on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars". Other credits include Microsoft Surface National Commercial, Nickelodeon "Halo Awards" and "The Voice" for Florence and the Machine, "Glee", "America's Got Talent", a music video for the All American Rejects, the national American Idol Promo Ad, Nickelodeon show "The Fresh Beat Band", assistant on "So You Think You Can Dance", and more. Kersten is also a master teacher and choreographer in the LA are and around the country. She is now a third time finalist for the Ace Award in New York City for her choreography. In 2010, she was awarded the "Emerging Choreographer Award" at the Regional Dance America/Southwest for her work set on Louisiana Delta Ballet. Kersten is incredibly grateful to live out her passion every day as a dancer and choreographer.

Sawyer Coulter
Sawyer Coulter began dancing at the age of 6, and by the time she was 18 moved to Los Angeles to train on EDGE Performing Arts Center's Scholarship program. She is well versed in tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, lyrical, theatre, and contemporary. Sawyer has traveled across North America performing and modeling for such companies as Nike, Wella, and Redken and has worked for a variety of choreographers in various music videos during her time in Los Angeles. She has also been seen on stage in Nick Jr's "Yo Gabba Gabba Live", and has appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Sawyer's passion for choreography and teaching has led her to become a member of the Dance Barre's faculty, alongside Blake Angier. She is thrilled to be joining the DSM team this year!
Malaya
Malaya's classic lyrical movement is often described as timeless. She has been an LADF and EDGE faculty member for many years and travels both nationally and internationally to teach master classes and set choreography on companies in Switzerland, Italy, New Zealand, Austrailia, Korea and Japan. Among Malaya's video, television and feature film appearances are Batman & Robin with George Clooney, a music video for Betcha with Prince, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and an apperance with Celine Dion. Malaya's choreography credits include many Los Angeles concerts as well as the Houston Metropolian Dance Company, Naway Dance Company and the Instincts Dance Company.
Corey Anderson
Corey is an LA based dancer/choreographer. He has worked with J Lo, Mariah Carey, Ricky Martin, Christina Aguilara, Miley Cyrus, Vanessa Hudgeons, and Chayanne. His television and film credits include Burlesque, Hannah Montana the Movie, Bedtime Stories as well as Two and a Half Men, Glee, Dancing with the Stars, Swingtown, Community, and Eli Stone. Corey's passion for teaching has led him across the globe and he continues to teach at Edge Performing Art Center in Hollywood, California.
Dominic Chaiduang
Dom was born in Northern Thailand but grew up in the Seattle Washington area. At the turn of the century, he made is way to Los Angeles where he trained on scholarship at EDGE PAC and has had a thriving and diverse career ever since. He has danced for Florence + the Machine, Kylie Minogue, Miley Cyrus, Carrie Underwood and Britney Spears among others. He has been fortunate to tour the workd with Sir Paul McCartney and Celine Dion and tour the country in the Broadway smash "Wicked".
Jessica Ashley Nelson
Jessica is a contemporary/jazz choreographer and dancer based out of Minneapolis, MN. Since the age of fourteen she has trained, worked and created professionally across the United States and Canada receiving national recognition for her group and solo choreography. She attained her BFA at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, which led her to furthering an exploration of dance through photography and filmmaking. In December 2010, Jessica completed her first dance file entitled Danse des Petits Cygnes Variation which was screened in Cinema Revolution's Dance Film Project. Currently, she is working on a series of short films which challenge dancers who take on the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy. Jessica's recent credits include, NYC Fashion Week 2010, Dance Spirit, The New York Times Magazine, The Southern Theatre, Pentagram, Projet Basho's Onward and Architecture MN. She has also worked for musical artist and actress Ashley Argota from the Nickelodeon show True Jackson, VP, The Battle Royale, Strong Sweet Waves, performance artist Gabrielle Civil and photographer JoAnn Verburg. This fall Jessica will be moving to New York to participate in a one-year artist and teaching residency.
Quinton Weathers
Quinton has worked with the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce, Angie Stone, Snoop Dogg, Salt & Pepa, Kylie Minogue, Anastasia, Clay Aiken, Ruben Studdard, Solange Knowles, Yasmeen, Parker Posey and Chris Katan. His T.V. and film credits include Nickelodeon's "All That" and "Taina", "2002 Olympics", "Soul Train", "Trading Spaces", "Varsity Blues", "Honey", "Adam and Steve" and "Dreamgirls". He has also had the opportunity to assist award-winning choreographer Mandy Moore in Seoul, Korea at the International Jazz Festival and at the Edge. He has done commericals and industrials for "So You Think You Can Dance", IPOD. Motorola, Smashbox Cosmetics, Nintendo. Diesel and Levi Jeans, Nike, 7-up and Pepsi. Quinton was also a dancer on the American Idol 2 tour and traveled around the US and Canada.
Quinton's fresh choreography and outgoing attitude has made him a sought after teacher and choreograher. He has taught master classes all over the United States, Canada, Korea and Japan. Quinton has judged and taught for Break the Floor Productions, V.I.P, Flow 40 and Hall of Fame Dance Challenge. He currently owns and operates a dance studio called "The Dance Spot".
EJ Ferencak
Pittsburgh native, has been training and dancing since the age of eight. Growing up as a competition kid, he won numerous regional and national titles. EJ has always been a well-rounded artist with training in dance, acting and singing.
At the age of sixteen, EJ had the distinct honor of bringing home the bronze medal for the U.S.A. in the IDO World Dance Championships. Some of his professional credits include appearing in such feature films as “Adventureland” and “The Dark Knight Rises.” EJ also performed with Aaron Carter at the International Children’s Games, had starring roles in episodes of Amazing News filmed by KEI of New York and appeared as a finalist on Fox’s hit T.V. “Show So You Think You Can Dance.” In 2010, EJ was ranked 8th in the world at the IDO Hip Hop Championships. He also stays busy teaching master classes for colleges, dance conventions and national dance competitions.
Most recently EJ’s choreography can be seen in the new hit show “Luminosity: Ignite the Night” powered by Pepsi. Also, he has been working with teen pop star Spencer Kane and can be seen in 3 of his music videos. Specializing in tap and hip-hop EJ’s choreography has gained national recognition in “Dance Magazine”. Some of his work can be seen in T.V. commercials and halftime shows for the NBA and WNBA. EJ loves traveling the country to work with dancers of all ages, spreading his knowledge and passion for the art of dance.
Jeremy Duvall
Jeremy carries all facets of the arts and entertainment industry with him as a working Dancer/Teacher/Choreographer. Credits include Wicked, The Jungle Book, Billy Elliot, Radio City Christmas Spectacular, ABC Family's Bunheads, Tokyo Disney Sea's premier cast member of Encore!, Spamalot at the Hollywood Bowl, Opera Pacific's Aida and Samson & Delilah, Madison Opera's Carmen, and numerous musicals with the Music Theatre of Wichita. He has also performed with renowned dance companies such as Jeff Amsden's A Few Good Men Dancin', Mark Meismer's Evolution, and Justin Giles's Soulescape. Jeremy has taught at numerous college/universities across the country and been on faculty at the prestigious dance facilities Broadway Dance Center, Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio, and Edge Performing Arts Center. His knowledge of dance and choreography has taken him around the globe to such countries as Italy, France, Canada, and Japan, to name a few. A proud graduate of Oklahoma City University-School of American Dance and Arts Management. You can currently find Jeremy playing the roll of SVEN in the World Premeir of Disney's Frozen musical! Meisha Lee
Meisha has studied all mediums of dance and is therefore known for her versatility in the industry. She was casted as a principal dancer for Capezio Dance print campaign. TV Credits include: 2 Broke Girls, The Fresh Beat Band, Big Time Rush, Victorious, Guiding Light, Community, So You Think You Can Dance, America's Best Dance Crew, Sing Off and X-factor. Her Film Credits include: The Princess and the Frog, Camp Rock II and Kickn’ It Old Skool. She has worked on commercials for Dreamworks, JC Penny, ABC, MTV, Arby’s, Kidz Bop, Kswiss, McDonalds and Best Buy. Meisha Lee has done choreography for the NBA, Bally's Las Vegas, Nickelodeon, Franklin and Bash, Film Independent Spirit Awards and Progressive Skating and Gymnastic Spectacular.
She has danced for renowned hip hop companies: The Groovaloos and Rhapsody the Company. Stage Credits include: Capital Cities, Yvis "What does the Fox Say?" Assistant Choreographer for Taylor Swift's "Fearless" and The Sing-Off Tour, three National tours of The Fresh Beat Band and performed with Queen Latifah on People's Choice Awards. She has taught for Dance Masters of America, taught throughout North America, Australia and China. Meisha Lee is currently on faculty at Debbie Reynold’s Studio in Los Angeles. Her most recent venture is as Assistant Director for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
Valentino Vladimirov
Valentino was born and raised in Sofia, Bulgaria. After his family won a green card from the lottery in 2004, he moved to Denver, Colorado , where he began his dance training in the United States. Growing up, there weren't many opportunities for dance in Bulgaria. Valentino would spend hours watching music videos and learning choreography, but never imagined a career in dance would be a possibility for him. Following his High School graduation, Valentino moved to Los Angeles where he was accepted into the EDGE Performing Arts Center Scholarship Program.The program was the first step into a career as a professional dancer, and the training he received there, has helped him take on the industry. After graduating from the Scholarship Program, he has worked with many stars from the music and tv & film industry such as Christina Aguilera, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Paula Abdul, Kat Graham, Todrick Hall, as well as Rebel Wilson, Rob Schneider, and Eric McCormack. Other work include American Idol, Nickelodeon, Just Dance 4, America's Next Top Model, H&M, Nike, Oakley, Converse, Fresh and Easy, Beachbody P90x, Mattel.

Eddie Garcia
Eddie is an accomplished director, choreographer, dancer and multi-faceted entertainer with a solid reputation for choreographing and performing internationally alongside many of today's celebrated stars. At only 16 years old, Eddie's incredible dancing style & technique delivered him to the world stage via many projects with Janet Jackson. Later the "King of Pop" himself, Michael Jackson, hand picked Eddie to join him on the first of several world tours including the BAD & DANGEROUS Tours.
Drawing from his performance background including iconic music videos like "Nasty", "What Have You Done For Me Lately", "When I Think About You", "Smooth Criminal" & "Speed Demon", Eddie has been able to have the pleasure of lending his learned talent to projects with Adam Lambert, Sheryl Crow, Jane's Addiction, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Brandy and many more.
Notable credits include choreography & performances in "Bringin' Down the House", "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody", & "Family Wedding" that included Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker! He was also choreographing and performing alongside Pop Icon Paula Abdul in Russia for "White Nights Festival".
Other performance credits include "RENT", "Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lighting Thief", "Save By The Bell", "Guys Next Door", and "The Smurf Movie". Make sure to catch Eddie's work in epic 3-D blockbuster "Gone With The Bullets"!
Michelle Elkin
Michelle most recently was seen on Netflix as a co star in Gilmore Girls “Winter”. She also has recently choreographed the up and coming tv show Me and My Grandma with Rhea Perlman, as well as a Southwest Airlines web spot. Other credits include a promo for the TV Land show “Younger” as well as a piece for the NSO Pops Opening at Kennedy Center and a new production of the musical “Children Of Eden” (Broadway World Awards Nominee). She also created musical numbers featuring Tony Award winner Sutton Foster and special guest Joshua Henry for the National Symphony Orchestra at Kennedy Center, the New York Pops at Carnegie Hall and the Houston Symphony at Jones Hall. She has also lent her choreographic talents to the hit ABC Family show, Baby Daddy, a TNT pilot titled “Dawn” directed by Sam Raimi as well as a production of Little Shop Of Horrors in Tampa, FL! Michelle’s choreography has also be seen in such projects as the feature films Wild Hogs and What Just Happened, as well as Emmy award winning television shows, Boston Legal, Weeds, Lifetime’s reality show “Your Mama Don’t Dance”, Warren The Ape on MTV, Marvin, Marvin on Nickelodeon, as well as the tap sequences in ABC Family's Bunheads. She made her professional debut at the age of 8 in the movie musical “Annie”. Since then, she continued to work in numerous film, television, commercial, and theater projects as a dancer and assistant choreographer such as Bunheads, Boston Legal, Joan Of Arcadia, Boston Public, Ally McBeal, Charmed, American Idol, the tv series Fame LA, 3rd Rock from the Sun, That 70’s Show, Tracey Takes On, The Country Bears, Batman and Robin, Austin Powers I-III, A Time For Dancing, and Elizabethtown. She was the Associate Choreographer for the films, Semi-Pro, Tropic Thunder, 10 Things I Hate About You, Cinderelmo, Looney Tunes: Back In Action, 13 Going on 30, Starsky and Hutch, tv series Viva Laughlin, Dancing With The Stars, the musical, Sister Act at Pasadena Playhouse, as well as the 58th Emmy Awards with Conan O’ Brien, the 63rd Emmy Awards with Jane Lynch and 81st Academy Awards with Hugh Jackman. Michelle was also the Associate Choreographer of the Broadway show, Wonderland at the Marriott Marquis Theater.

Steve Ewing
STEVE EWING began his dance career at 12 years old at the well-known Bryant Ballet in Chicago. At the age of 16, Steve was teaching students of his own. After completing his B.A. in Theatre from Millikin University, Steve became a part of the largely successful Broadway smash-hit musical, WICKED, where he performed the role of Chistery for nearly 3 years. Along with performing in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, his other credits include numerous music videos and industrials with such employers as Cirque Du Soleil, Discover Card, and The Pampered Chef. You can even find Steve, photographed mid-air in a Russian jump, in the Encyclopedia Britannica for Health under Dance.
Steve also creates large-scale productions for corporate events such as Make A Wish Foundation, Nerium International, and many more! Appearing as Dream Curly in MTW’s revival of Oklahoma!, Steve’s performance got praise in Stage & Screen Review as “the finest performance of the night.” He travels around the world teaching and can always be found at the world-renowned Edge Performing Arts Center in Hollywood teaching his weeking classes. He is also the Creative Director and Choreographer for the renowned INSPIRATI Dance Company most recently featured on TruTV's Premier Season of "Fake Off" with TLC's own Chilli! Steve is thrilled to share his love of the performing arts with every student at Industry Xperience!
Judy Rice
Judy is a graduate of the National Ballet School of Canada and has performed extensively across the US and Canada including the Joffrey Ballet, The National Tap Dance Company of Canada and American Ballet Comedy. She has 20 years experience teaching for regional companies and festivals as well as Company Dance, DMA, DEA, CNADM, 3D Dance Network, The Joffrey Ballet School, The Joffrey Ballet, Broadway Dance Center and the Dance Teacher Magazine Summer Conference. You can currently also find Judy sharing her love of dance on Artist Simply Human (ASH)
Judy has been a judge for ADA and is on the faculty for Dance Masters Teacher Training School and CNADM training school. She is also a contributing writer to GOLDRUSH magazine.
As a founder of "Behind Barres", Judy has produced 11 albums of ballet class music and have released three DVDs highlighting the do’s and don’ts of beginning pointe work and an intermediate ballet class to Volume I and an elementary ballet class to Volume II. Ms. Rice’s television credits include: "Fame," "All my Children," "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson" and "The Great American Dance Challenge." Since 1990 she has been an Associate Professor of Performing Arts at the University of Michigan. You can also see Judy on the cover of Dance Teacher Magazine!
Joey Kloberdanz
Born in Saginaw, Michigan Joey Kloberdanz was raised in a typical Midwestern family atmosphere with his two brothers and two sisters. His dreams, however, were far from typical and reached well beyond the city limits of his home town. He first developed an interest in acting and entertainment in Elementary School when he, along with a childhood friend, performed the classic Abbott & Costello comedy skit “Who’s On First”. To the sounds of wondrous applause, Joey never looked back and snagged the lead in the High School comedy-drama “The Boys Next Door”, as well as roles in community theatre productions of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”, “Oliver” and “Annie”.
While attending Western Michigan University, Joey threw himself into his pre-med studies and served as a leader in many college organizations. Continuing the growth of his already strong athletic abilities, he played on the Men’s Volleyball Team at WMU and was captain for two years. He was voted Homecoming King his senior year and upon graduation in 2008, moved to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career full time.
Since his arrival in Hollywood, Joey has trained with the Larry Moss and Ivana Chubbuck, and currently is under the tutelage of Annie Grindlay. He has appeared in a commercial for ESPN and acted in several short films, most notably “One Gallon” and “Logan(+),” which is presently making the festival circuit. In his most recent feature film endeavor, he played the part of Trevor in the post-war drama “Always Faithful”. You can currently see Joey in the award-winning series “Redwood” and the horror-thriller "Messiah".
